Walnut Shell Granules

Walnut shell granule is an extremely soft, organic abrasive material obtained by crushing, cleaning and separating walnut shells. It is broken into sizes and classified according to the application area.

 The reason for preference appears as a product and is actively used in many areas:

• The shell product produced in the walnut factory is used as a new fuel product in solid fuel heating systems and solid fuel boilers, as it is the main fuel source in providing industrial type high heat in many sectors. It is actively preferred in solid fuel tanks with its compliance with the solid fuel regulation and with its economic and benefit coefficient high.
• Ground shell granule is used in the industry as sandblasting and surface abrasive in restoration processes. It is actively used in sculptures and historical artifacts without removing graffiti, as it does not harm the material in external surface cleaning.
• In the field of chemistry, it contains especially leather and skin cleansing products.
• It is used in metal and furniture industries both as a surface abrasive cleaner (sandpaper) and in baking processes for paint and wood drying. Walnut shell granules are used in disc finishing machines, dry grinding and dry polishing processes. Depending on the process to be made using walnut shells, grinding or polishing paste should be added. Walnut shells are generally used in final polishing processes.
• Walnut shells are preferred in all of the polishing and etching processes in jewelery products. The most important reason why they are preferred in soft metals is that they do not cause surface hardening due to their low density.
